About the Jeff Vickers Memorial Chapter

Jeff VickersThe Jeff Vickers Memorial Chapter was formed in September, 2009 as the first WI Chapter of the Leukemia Research Foundation. This chapter was formed in loving memory by the family and friends of Jeff Vickers, who lost his courageous 6 year battle with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia in April, 2009.

His amazing sense of humor, compassion and strength will continue to live on in the hearts of our members as we commit to raising money for LRF and bringing awareness to the Wisconsin community of their critical mission of funding research into the causes and cures of leukemia. Our hope is that someday there will be a cure to this awful disease and that we might aide in that important research by helping to fund it.

Our members will always remember Jeff’s favorite quote and apply it to our mission:

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; those who seek find; and to those who knock, the door will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8

We will continue to ask everyone for support in funding leukemia research, we will constantly seek new ways of achieving this support, and we will knock on door after door until there is someday a cure for leukemia.

We believe research is the most important key that will someday unlock the answers to find a cure to leukemia so that no other family has to go through what we have.
